YouTube reportedly launching new ‘premium lite’ tier soon

YouTube is close to announced a new low -priced “Premium Light” version of its subscription services, Bloomberg reportThe The new level is expected to launch “soon” in the United States, Australia, Germany and Thailand.

Bloomberg notes will allow users to access the Podcast YouTube library and how clips. Premium lights will be targeted towards visitors who basically want to watch videos except music videos.

It is unknown how much the layer will cost. When the premium light level is tested in some foreign markets, YouTube is ready to officially roll it out.

YouTube premium costs $ 13.99 per month in the United States and lets customers see anything on the platform without advertising music videos.

The new layer of YouTube will come into a growing competition between platforms, including Spotify and Apple Podcast, all want to become a destination for the podcast audience.
