Russia launches a large -scale attack on drones in Ukraine

Russia has launched a large -scale attack with drones on Saturday night, causing civilian civilians in Ukraine, said officially.

Yuri Ignatius, a spokesman for the Ukraine Air Force Command, said 267 Russian drones were launched in a coordinated attack.

Among them, 138 were trapped by air defense until 119 disappeared from radar after they were clogged and did not cause any damage.

While many have been repulsed, emergency services report drones causing destruction and fires in a number of regions overnight.

The strike comes the day before the third anniversary since the start of the full -scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine.

It is unclear how many people have died, but initial emergency data suggest that there have been at least three casualties.

Two people were killed in a strike on a residential building in Herson, in the southern part of Ukraine – a man and a mother of twins, Ukrainian state services said.

The regional authorities also confirmed that a man was killed and at least three were injured after a strike of the central city of Krivi Rich.

Meanwhile, a 53-year-old woman has been hospitalized after being injured in the attack of drones in the attachment, and firefighters were called to suppress numerous fires in the capital Kiev.

Kiev Mayor Vital Kltiko wrote to Telegram that many drones’ wave attacks against the capital have damaged several houses and cars, but there are no instant reports of injuries.

The drones were captured in at least 13 regions, including Harkiv, Poltava, Sums, Kiev, Chernihiv, Mikolai and Odessa, according to the Ukrainian authorities.

The Ukrainian Air Force also reported that Russia was shooting three ballistic missiles overnight.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday that 20 Ukrainian drones launched in Russia were “destroyed” overnight.
