What do we know about the death of the movie star and his wife

US investigators are trying to determine how the actor won by Oscar Jean Hakman and his wife, classic pianist Betsy Arakawa, died after the discovery of their bodies at their home in the United States in New Mexico.

Here’s what we know so far about the death of a Hollywood legend, known for such films as the French relationship and conversation.

The couple’s bodies and one of their dogs were found by police on Wednesday at their home in Santa Fe in the US state of New Mexico after a support worker called emergency services.

A 911 conversation recording, received from the BBC, shows the emotional call, who tells the dispatcher how he found the two bodies.

The 95 -year -old hackman was found in a side room near the kitchen, while the 65 -year -old Arakawa was found in a bathroom, in the Old Sunset Trail property in Hyde Park.

The couple seems to have been “dead for a long time,” said sheriff Adan Mendosa.

Arakava’s body showed signs of “decomposition” and “mummification” in the hands and feet, said the sheriff’s detective.

Hakman’s remains “showed obvious signs of death, similar and consistent” with those of his husband.

A German Shepherd Dog owned by the couple was found dead in a closet in Banya near Arakava.

No cause was given in police statements as soon as the death was announced.

Authorities say there are no signs of injury, but believe that death is “suspicious” enough to investigate and do not rule out a fake game.

Near Arakava’s head, there was a portable heater that the detective determined that it could be removed in the event that it fell sharply to the ground.

Hakman and Arakawa have been requested for carbon monoxide and toxicology tests and a hackmann.

The local utility company did not find any signs of gas leakage in the area and the fire service did not find an indication of carbon monoxide leakage or poisoning, according to the search order.

The circumstances of their death are considered “sufficiently suspicious in nature to require a thorough search and investigation,” the search order said, since the worker who called the emergency services found the front door of the property open.

“There were no struggles,” Sheriff Mendoza said. “There was no indication of something missing from home or disturbed, you know that this will be an indication that a crime has come.”

They communicated with them by phone and text, mainly with Arakava.

Hakman’s daughter Leslie Ann Hakman told The Mail Online that her father was in “very good physical condition” Despite his age, he has not undergone “any major operations” in recent months.

“He liked to do Pilates and yoga, and he kept doing it several times a week,” she said. “So he was in good health.”

The couple, married in 1991, had a “wonderful marriage,” she added.
