Demolition takes down record -breaking trains

Called the highest train in the world when it opened in 2005, Kingda Ka was demolished at the Six Flags Theme Park in New Jersey.

Local officials have warned that the surrounding areas can hear a “series of fast explosions” coming from the theme park until the implosion is held.

The ride is one of several retired in the park, creating a way for new attractions.
