PA mediaPresident Donald Trump continued to play the global destroyer this week until the rest of the world did everything he can to engage with him.
His sixth week at the office saw a development at home and abroad, as the US president hosted foreign leaders in the White House, including the United Kingdom Prime Minister Sir Kayer Starmer.
The wars in Ukraine and Gaza also emerge large, sometimes surprising ways.
A stunned exchange between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodir Zelenski restricted the week on Friday, resulting in their meeting in the White House shortly short.
If you are after catching up, here’s a reminder of the 11 main moves of the Trump administration this week.
One of the most notable moments of the week was an angry exchange between Zelenski and Trump in the oval office, which unfolded in front of the world news cameras.
During what was supposed to be a prelude to the two leaders who sign a deal with minerals, the conversation between the two was destroyed and ended with the President of the United States, who tells his Ukrainian counterpart Let’s make a deal with Russia “or we are out.”
The exchange was first heated after US deputy chairman JD Vance told Zelenski that the war should be completed through diplomacy. Then Zelenski asked what kind of diplomacy, to which Vance accused him of being disrespectful and “argued” the situation before the media.
He escalates quickly from there. Trump told Zelenski that he should be “grateful” for the support of the United States, which his country had received in his fight against Russia and that he “gambling with the Third World War”.
The Ukrainian president was then told to leave the White House by National Security Advisor Mike Wals and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and a joint press conference with Trump and Zelenski was canceled.
In a social post of truth, Trump said that “Zelenski does not respect the United States in his hidden oval office.”
“He can come back when he is ready for peace,” Trump said.
Prior to this meeting, Ukraine and the United States have drawn up a deal that will give the US access to Ukraine’s deposits of rare minerals on Earth.
Zelenski had said he hoped the “preliminary” agreement with the US will “lead to additional deals”, but confirmed that US security guarantees had not yet been agreed.
In particular, Trump on Thursday turned out to be responding last week his sharp criticism of Zelenski, whom he called a “dictator.” Asked about this on Thursday, Trump replied, “Did I say that? I can’t believe I would say that.”
But the Friday meeting, which was eventually shortened before the two sides began negotiations, ended without a signed deal.
Trump held his first cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Among the attendees was the adviser to the billionaire of President Elon Musk, who is not really a member of the cabinet.
A big topic was the Dog plan – the so -called Ministry of Government Efficiency, which Musk manages – to reduce the size of the federal bureaucracy.
On the same day, a note was sent to the federal agencies asking them to submit them to “significantly reduce” their staff until March 13.
ReutersFrench President Emmanuel Macron was the first foreign visitor to come to the White House this week.
Trump hosted Macron on Monday, the third anniversary of the full -scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine.
After the meeting, Macron said Trump had a “good reason” to restore communication with Russian President Vladimir Putin, a remarkable deviation from France’s previous isolation policy. But he is not committed to Trump that the United States will help Europe with its security needs.
ReutersThe United Kingdom Prime Minister Sir Kiir Starmer also met with US President this week. The two discussed the US trade and security guarantees for Ukraine.
Trump said there was a “very good chance” for a US -UK trade deal, where “tariffs will not be needed.” Such a deal, Trump said, can be done “pretty quickly”.
In part through their opening remarks, Sir Kier reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out an official letter from King Charles, an invitation for a second state visit.
Trump seems to go wrong for a few seconds, asking, “Should I read it right now?”
After taking a minute to read the letter, Trump said he had accepted the invitation and would be an “honor” to visit the “fantastic” country.
PA mediaTrump shared a controversial video generated by AI, it seems that he depicts the besieged enclave as a Mediterranean resort and run by the US president.
The video, which sparked rage on social media, came after Trump stated his administration’s controversial plan to take a gas and restore it to the Riviera of the Middle East.
The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced a plan for $ 1 billion (792 million British pounds) to help us fight a raging bird flu epidemic, which requires them to kill millions of chickens and pump the price of eggs to the highest road.

Ghetto imagesTrump has presented plans to sell a Visa for $ 5 million (£ 3.9 million), which will offer wealthy buyers a permanent residence in the United States and the way to citizenship.
The president told reporters that the visas would function like green cards that allow immigrants with different incomes to live and work constantly in the United States, but would go to “high -level people”.
“People who can pay $ 5 million, they will create jobs,” Trump said. “It will sell as crazy. It’s a deal.”
Republicans in the House of US Representatives narrowly adopted a bill on the cost of many billions of dollars on Tuesday, a major impetus to Trump, which progresses in his agenda.
It includes $ 4.5 trillion ($ 3.6TN) to reduce taxes, funded by cost reductions, but also by a potential increase in the significant pile of US government debt.
However, there are still a number of steps through which the cost plan has to go to become a law.
Trump said he would invite the White House Eagles to Philadelphia to celebrate their recent victory in Super Bowl, despite rumors that the champions could refuse the invitation.
“Absolutely, they will be an extended invitation,” Trump said in an oval office on Tuesday. “They deserve to be here down and we hope to see them.”
The Eagles skipped a visit to the White House when they won in 2018, but the team plans to attend the event this year, US media reported.
