Mineral deal “ready to sign,” says Zelenski

President Zelenski told the BBC that the deal with the minerals between the US and Ukraine remains “ready” to sign, despite the public reflection between him and the Trump administration on Friday.

He was asked about the future of the deal, which would give the US access to the rare mineral reserves of Ukraine by Laura Quensberg.

“Our policy is to continue what has happened in the past, we are constructive,” he continues, “If we agree to sign the mineral deal, we are ready to sign it.”

“The agreement on the table will be signed if the parties are ready,” he concludes.
