LlamaIndex launches a cloud service for building unstructed data agents

Liu said the salesforce, KPMG and Carlyle are among the companies that use Llamindex today.

The next chapter of Llamaindex is an enterprise service built at the top of the company’s Open-Source Offer. Known as Llamclaoud, it allows customers to create a cloud-hosted agent that can work and manipulate with unpructed data in different formats.

Liu says Llamclaoud can be deployed in a software-Servis installation or virtual private cloud and comes with role-based access control and single sign-on features, Liu said.

As part of Llamclaoud’s development funds, Llamindex recently collected $ 19 million in a funding round led by the Norwest Venture Partners and also saw Grailk’s participation. The new cash has raised the total funds of Llamaindex $ 27.5 million, and Liu says it will be used to expand the 20-person team and product development of Llamindex.

“We have enough runways to take us through the initial commercial expansion of our platform,” Liu said. “We are betting on a future where developers play a big role in supplying genital applications within the enterprise.”
