Haidilao pays dinners after teenagers urine in soup

The largest Hotpot Hotpot chain in China Haidilao offered to compensate for more than 4,000 nights that visited one of its branches in Shanghai, where two teenagers urinated in their hot ball broth.

A video of the boys peeking into their broth with broth while having dinner in a private room was widely shared online last month. It is not clear who may have filmed the incident.

Police said the 17-year-olds who were drunk at the time were detained shortly after the incident.

There is no suggestion that someone has consumed the affected broth. Haidilao apologized to customers, stating that he had replaced all hot balls and cutlery equipment, as well as disinfect other utensils and utensils.

Heidilao said the customers who had dinner at the exit between February 24 and March 8 would receive a full refund, followed by monetary compensation, which is 10 times more than the amount they were charged to them.

The company expanded quickly as it opened its first restaurant in Jianang in Sichuan province. He now operates more than 1,000 restaurants worldwide.

Haidilao is known for its customer service and family -friendly atmosphere where ladies can receive a manicure and children are treated with candy while waiting for a table.
