Ten dead in Missouri while tornado sweeps through the southern part of the United States

At least 10 people were killed in Missouri after Tornado had broken through central and southern US, authorities confirmed.

Missouri governor warned of a more difficult time, including the risk of additional tornado on Saturday. The Emergency Management Office of the State has reported widely damaged in many regions.

“Patrol and local agencies work tirelessly to help the needy and evaluate damage,” said Missouri State Highway Patrol in a statement by X.

Destructive storms also hit Texas and Oklahoma, where they nourish more than 100 wild fires and overturned several trucks for a semi -trailer, according to CBS News, the US partner of the BBC.

One of these fires, known as the Road Fire 840, has already burned 27,500 acres and remains 0% contained, according to the Oklahoma Forestry Office. The agency has issued a “red flag” warning to Panhandle, signaling an exceptional fire hazard.

The state of Mississippi is now alert to the potential outbreak of Tornado, according to the National Ocean and Atmosphere (NOAA) administration.
