The BBC British Service is talking to families and rescuers in the city of Mandalay in Myanmar, near the place where a deadly earthquake of magnitude 7.7 struck a deadly earthquake on Friday.

The mortal number of the earthquake and a series of afterfrons rose after 2700, with 4,521 injured and hundreds still disappeared, according to the military chief of Myanmar.

“We still have hope,” said a BBC man as he waited to find out what had happened to his missing sisters, who had been trapped in ruins last week. He said 11 floors per building had collapsed on them.
