Rare shots from a Sudanese city under siege

The Sudanese city of El-Fasher has been largely detached from the outside world from one year as a result of the country’s civil war, which began two years ago. This is the latest fortress of the Sudanese army in Darfur against the Paraviliac Forces for Rapid Support (RSF).

Mostafa, Hafiza and Manahel are the residents of the city who wanted to shoot their lives for BBC. In many of the videos they sent, the sound of firing and firing can be heard in the background.

Their footage was recorded between August and November, at that time everyone decided it was too dangerous to stay in El-Fashire and leave the city.
