Lauren Good: And I’m Lauren Good. I am a senior writer of the wired.
Michael Hit: Katie Drammond is out today, but we have joined Andrew Cuts, senior editor of Wired Protection and Investigation.
Andrew Couts: Thanks so much for having me.
Michael Hit: So let’s start talking about what’s going on now. There are hands of protests, there are Tesla Takedown protests. Are they relative at all?
Lauren Good: Hands of demonstrations and Tesla Tekdown movements are not one, but they are related. Both of them have somehow resisting some policies that have made the Congressional approval in a short time since Donald Trump took over in January. Tesla Takedown is directly shaking to Elon Kasturi, who has played this official but informal role in the administration of Trump as the leader of the day. We sometimes refer to him as the main friend and there is this idea to challenge the power of the musk as one of the richest people in the world by underestimating one of the most important businesses in the private sector, where the hands of demonstrations are about all kinds of issues. They are firing federal workers, overriching and potential unconstitutional immigration policies, threats to women’s rights, and LGBTUIe rights, threats for social protection, threat to healthcare. The list goes on. The idea basically removes your hands away from my rights.
