Bain of Group Just B comes out to a concert

The K -pop Group Just Be’s Bain has revealed to fans that it is “proud to be part of the LGBT Community” – a rare move in an industry known for strict control over the behavior of artists, where stars usually maintain details of their personal life, especially relationships.

The 23-year-old star is already among a handful of K-POP artists who came out publicly.

Bayne made a message to the fans while performing solo at a concert in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

The moment was greeted with strong cheers from the crowd, according to videos distributed on social media.

“To anyone who is part of the LGBT community, or still invent it – this is for you,” said Bane, whose real name is Song byeong -hee, said in video Posted in his social media after the concert.

“You see, you are loved and you were born this way,” he added, before he started performing in this way by the Lady Gaga pop icon, whom he cited as “my queen.”

His roommates welcomed the message. The B Siwood member said he was crying while watching Bane’s performance. “I know how difficult it was for him and that made me want to cry more,” he said, according to Korean media News1.

The fans of the group also showed their support. “We love you so much and we are so proud of you that you are yourself,” reads a comment with the highest liking under his Instagram post.

“You’re so loved. You’re so proud of being a fan. I’m proud of who you are,” another fan wrote.

Formed in 2021, Just B is a six -member act that has released five EPS and multiple singles.

Exit remains extremely rare in the pressure of the entertainment industry in South Korea. Although homosexuality is not illegal in the country, it remains taboo and same -sex marriage is not legally recognized.

The Human Rights Watch report of 2022 describes discrimination against LGBT people in South Korea as “comprehensive”.

Bane is not the first K-Pop star to come out. Last month alone, Lara, an Indian-American member of the Kathsei girls group, came out as Queer on the K-Pop Fan Community platform. In 2020, Jiae from the already distracted Girl Wassup group announced on Instagram that it was bisexual.
