Family Pay Respect for the Pope

Thousands of sorrows continue to submit through the emblematic Basilica of St. Peter, where the late Pope Francis lies in a condition.

BBC News correspondent Mark Lowen has caught up with a New York family, which he described that he could give his final respect before the Pope’s funeral on Saturday as “an opportunity for once in life.”

“We have just been here and be able to see Pope Francis and just here with people and Catholics from all over the world is quite special,” said Ben, who joined his wife Elizabeth and their four children.

“He brought so many people to the Catholic faith,” Elizabeth said, adding that Francis had inspired her to “think about the marginalized and the people on the border of society.”
