The woman of the fifties was found dead on Monday night after a fire broke out in a building in the city district of Karabancha.

Thirteen people were treated for smoke inhalation, including five who were taken to hospital, according to the city office for emergency cases.

Local police suggested that a woman suffering from a lung state had died after the fan who used lost power during the interruption, according to media reports.

However, El Pace cites regional health sources who have stated that the woman has suffered from a number of health conditions and that she died of natural reasons.

The eclipse caused great disturbances in Spain and Portugal. Andorra and parts of France were also affected.
