US Vice President JD Vance said the war in Ukraine “will not end soon” in an interview with Fox News.
Vance said the issue of the US administration now is how it could help Russia and Ukraine “find an average position” to end a conflict, which has been raging for more than three years.
But, Vance added, “It will be (Russia and Ukraine) to reach an agreement and to stop this brutal, brutal conflict.”
His comments came shortly after Washington signed a deal with Kyiv Let’s share the profits of Ukraine’s rare earthly minerals in exchange for future US security assistance.
Vance made the comments in a broad interview in which he defended Trump’s approach to the war in Ukraine.
