An eruption of a volcano on Mount Kanlaon, caught on a thermal camera

A volcano in the Philippines exploded, throwing ash 3 km (1.8 miles) into the air.

The eruption of the Kanlaon Mountain Volcano on Negros Island was caught on a thermal camera, showing falling debris.

There was an evacuation radius around the volcano to four miles after an earlier eruption in December.

There are no reports of injuries.
