Thousands of Gazan babies will die without help

The UN Humanitarian Chief said 14,000 babies in Gaza could die in the next 48 hours if trucks do not reach the communities in the lane.

Speaking to the BBC Radio 4 Today program, Tom Fletcher said thousands of trucks are “ready to go”, adding that trucks contain “baby food and eating”.

Israel has accused Hamas of abuse and theft of help Hamas denies.

The Prime Minister of the country, Benjamin Netanyahu, said on Monday that “we should not reach a situation of hunger”, adding that Israel would only allow a “minimum, main bridge” to prevent hunger.
