Apple to change the way it names operating systems, report says

It is reported that Apple will change the way to name its operating systems, Report of every Bloomberg.

The operating systems will now be named by the year, which means that the update after the current iOS 18 will be iOS 26 than iOS 26, instead of iOS 19. The change is less confusing between Apple products, facilitating the way of more continuous branding. Bloomberg says other name changes include iPados 26, Macos 26, Watch 26, TVOS 26 and Vision 26. The changes will be announced on June 9 at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWLUDCC).
