Two Scottish men shot at the Irish bar in Spain in Costa del Sol

Two Scottish men were killed in firing a bar in southern Spain, according to Spanish officials.

Sagittarius fired several shots at Bar Monagan in Fuangirola in Andalusia on Saturday night before fleeing the stage.

Javier Salas of the central government in Malaga province has confirmed that BBC News is believed to be both men are Scottish.

Spanish media reported that specialist officers and a crime department in the region are conducting the investigation.

The regional newspaper Diario Sur has announced that the attack happened shortly after 11pm, when a car was drawn and a masked man opened fire.

They said both men died at the scene, and the shooter fled to the vehicle.

Monaghans is located on the beach and is a popular bar with tourists and expatrios.

The bar had screened the UEFA Champions League final in the evening of the attack.

Police are still going to arrest, but it has not ruled out that the killings are related to organized crime.

Police Scotland said he was unable to comment on a possible relationship with a recent band’s feud in Scotland and directed investigations to the Spanish authorities.

BBC journalist Guy Hedgeko said there have been a number of similar firing in the Costa del Sol area in recent weeks, several of which are thought to have some connection with drug crime.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it did not turn to consular care, but that its employees were ready to help all British citizens if necessary.
