Patreon will increase the cut it takes from new creators

Patron Declaration Monday that it is changing its value structure.

Currently, Patrion takes an 8% cut or 12% cut from the creators depending on their selected level – though 8% plan is more popular.

Instead the new price plan provides a universal level, which keeps 10% of the creator’s earnings.

Existing Patriyan manufacturers do not need concern – this price increase will only affect the manufacturers who publish a new Patrion page on August 4, 2025.

“Since we last updated our prices six years ago, the Patrion Media has just extended out of payment to include hosting, community and discovery,” the company wrote in a blog post.
