“This intervention stands as a testament to his role as a true peacemaker.”

There was no immediate response from Washington or New Delhi.

Trump has repeatedly said that India and Pakistan have ended the conflict after the ceasefire, mediated by the United States, and also that he used trade as a lever to make them agree.

Pakistan confirmed the US statements to combat fire, but India denied it.

Last month, Trump said he had told India and Pakistan that fire was needed to allow them to maintain the US trade.

“I said,” Come on, we will do a lot of trade with you, boys (India and Pakistan). Let’s stop it, “he told reporters.

The Nobel move was applauded by Mushad Hussein, a former chairman of the Senate Defense Committee in Pakistan’s parliament.

“Trump is good for Pakistan,” he told Reuters. “If these pandars to Trump’s ego, so be it. All European leaders have sucked him down for great time.”

But Maleya Lodi, the former Pakistan ambassador to the United States, criticized the move as “unhappy”.

“A man who supported Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza and called Israel’s attack on Iran as” excellent, “she wrote to X.

“This compromises our national dignity,” she added.

On Friday, Trump is published on True social That he helped negotiations for mediation between many nations, but still: “No, I will not receive the Nobel Prize for Peace, no matter what I do.”

Trump took office, promising to quickly put an end to Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Gaza wars, although the peace deals in both conflicts have been avoided so far.

He often criticized Barack Obama for winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 after less than eight months as president of the United States. In 2013, Trump called on the Norwegian Nobel Committee to cancel the award.
