Israel ordered the Palestinians to be evacuated from parts of northern gas before the increased hostilities, as US President Donald Trump insists on a deal to end fire.
People in neighborhoods in Gaza and Jabalia are told to move south to the Al Mavasi coastal zone as Israeli military operations “strengthen and expand the west.”
At least 86 people were killed as a result of Israeli attacks 24 hours before noon on Sunday, Hamas Health Ministry said.
Three children were among those killed in the so -called “safe zone” of Al Mavasi, their parents said.
Trump on Sunday repeated calls to “conclude the deal in Gaza” and “Return the hostages”.
On Saturday, Trump had told Truth Social that Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in the process of negotiating a deal with Hamas “at the moment.”
Meanwhile, the Israeli Defense Force spokesman (IDF) Avicha Adra said on Sunday that Israeli military was operating in Northern Gaza “to remove terrorists and terrorist infrastructure.”
Medics and residents told Reuters that military bombings were increasing in gas in the early hours of Sunday, destroying several houses.
The Hamas Civil Protection Agency in Gaza told news publications that at least 23 people were killed only on Sunday.
Medicines said five people were killed in an Israeli air strike on a housing, alive on a tent, displaced people in Al Mavasi near the southern city of Khan Enis – an area where people in the north were told to evacuate.
Five members of the Maaruf family were killed, including three children.
“We were bombed as we were sleeping on the ground,” said their mother, Ian Abu Maaruf. “We did nothing wrong. My children were killed and the rest were in intensive treatment.”
Their father Zeed Abu Maaruf told Reuters that the family arrived at the Safe Zone a month ago after Israel told them to go to Al Mavasi.
The BBC contacted the Israeli military for comment.
Increased hostilities come when mediators begin new efforts to end the war and free the other hostages held by Hamas.
On Thursday, a senior Hamas official said BBC mediators had intensified their efforts to join a new deal to end the fire and hostage in Gaza, but these negotiations with Israel remain stagnant.
Qataric mediators have said they are hoping the pressure from the US will help to achieve a deal after a truce between Israel and Iran, which ended the 12-day conflict between the countries.
Earlier, Trump said he hoped that the termination of fire in Gaza could be agreed next week.
In March, a two -month ceasefire collapsed when Israel began fresh gas blows. It says he wants to put pressure on Hamas to release his hostages.
Israel also imposed a total blockade of humanitarian aid supplies in Gaza in early March, which partially relieved 11 weeks after the pressure of US allies and warnings by global experts that half a million people are starving.
This partial relief involves the creation of a help group in the US and Israel, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) after Israel accused Hamas of stolen help. Hamas denied this.
The GHF assistance system was convicted by UN agencies. There are repeated cases of murder and injuries to Palestinians seeking help.
Juliette Tuma, Director of UN Communications Director for Palestinian Refugees, Unrwa, told the BBC that the new mechanism was a “Murder Field”. She said that the distribution of assistance can only be done through the UN and other humanitarian organizations.
Ghf boss Johnny Moore earlier told Newshour at the BBC World Service He does not deny the death near the objects for help, but said that “100% of these victims are attributed to the proximity to GHF” and this is “not true”.
The previous transaction to end the fire between Israel and Hamas – which began on January 19 – was created to have three stages, but did not go in the first stage.
The second stage involved the establishment of a constant fire, the return of the other living hostages to Gaza in exchange for Palestinians closed in Israel, and the complete withdrawal of the Israeli forces from Gaza.
Trump has called for the ongoing accusations of corruption against Netanyahu to be rejected, describing the proceedings as a “political hunting of witches”, delaying negotiations to end the fire.
On Sunday, the Israeli court accepted a request by the Israeli Prime Minister to delay his planned testimony for a week due to diplomatic and security.
Netanyahu was accused in 2019 for bribery, fraud and a breach of confidence he denies.
Earlier during the week Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid said Trump should not “interfere in the legal process of an independent state. “
Israel launched its military campaign in Gaza in response to the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and 251 others were hostage.
Since then, 56,500 people have been killed in Gaza, according to the health ministry in the territory.
