A former SpaceX Security Manager, who was secret for the top secrets of the US government’s program, is suing against the agency and a senior employee of discriminatory discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation.
Jenna Shamway, who was promoted to a senior contractor program security officer after the appointment in 2022, alleged that senior employees – Daniel Collins, a former defense department officer appointed the company to carry out protection consent for the government’s work – the top secret protocol was violated and then the government.
Lawyers of Shamway, Collins and SpaceX did not immediately respond to the request of TechCrunch comment.
Collins made the news on December 2024 New York Times reported The SpaceX OP was under federal review for the Protocol of the Protection Protocol. The NYT said that Collins discouraged the protection exemption violations and allowed executives without appropriate exemption in classified meetings. NYT has been found, these and other complaints have begun a review of at least three federals of the company’s protection system.
According to Shamw, he was passed for the post of director that Colin’s was appointed without the opportunity to apply. According to the complaint, Collins was appointed as its higher in the spring in the spring, while its “work environment was completely changed”. Shamway claimed that Colinis effectively launched a harassment campaign against him, in which he had removed his duties for months and eventually leads to his end in October 2021.
It is alleged that the harassment of Colinis was also expanded to other female workers. Discrimination includes preventing female workers from doing the necessary protection, setting up them to disobey them, looking at an employee’s chest during a meeting and asking a subordinate female employee if he wants to get “sprinkle” after work after work.
Shamway and other female employees have repeatedly reported Collins to the SpaceX Human Resource, the case has been stated. The case alleged that the company ignored the allegations and did not take any action out of advising employees to be alone with Collins. Shamway is seeking unexpected damage.
It is not the first time that SpaceX has claimed against it that it enables sexual discrimination. Previous cases have complained of stories of bias against female workers and an adverse work environment that enables gender-based harassment. The company is also fighting the investigation into the California Civil Rights Department and the National Labor Relations Board.
A case was filed in the County Superior Court of Los Angeles in late May; It was later moved to the Federal Court on June 30 at the request of SpaceX. It has been filed under the case number 2: 22 -V -05959 in the Federal Central District Court of California.
