As the military gathered before the National Assembly that evening, legislators had to scathing the walls to vote on the order of Ion.
The amendment on Thursday also prohibits the military and the police from entering the National Assembly without the approval of its speaker.
John declared martial law on December 3, 2024 with the increase of his political problems, from the parliamentary dead end to the corruption scandals.
He claims that the shock move will protect the country from “anti -state” forces that sympathize with North Korea, but provided little evidence to support it.
The crisis shook South Korea, which lasts for decades of military government before holding democratic elections again in the late 1980s.
Senior officials in the Yoon administration were removed and detained for their role in the December decision. Yawn himself was an impeach and removed from office and is now tested for uprising.
The months of political uncertainty left Yoon’s ruling party in disarray. In a June election, Lee Jay Mun from the opposition was observed to win the presidency.
At a press conference in Seoul on Thursday, marking 30 days of post, Lee told reporters that his administration would seek better links with North Korea – a deviation from his predecessor, who maintained a difficult position in the communist regime.
South Korean politics remains bitterly divided. When parliament approved Lee’s election as the Prime Minister on Thursday, the vote was boycotted by the Ion Party, which is now the main opposition.
