Hamas says this consulted with other Palestinian groups before giving an official response to the latest proposal for a new deal to terminate gas and hostages proposed by the United States.
President Donald Trump said on Friday morning that he was expected to know within 24 hours if Hamas agreed to the plan.
On Tuesday, Trump said Israel has accepted the conditions necessary for a 60-day termination of fire, during which parties will work to end the 20-month war.
In the meantime, the Israeli military continues to bomb whole through the Gaza Strip.
Local journalists have announced that they are listening to explosions and firing, as the Israeli helicopter and the artillery hit the southern Khan Eunice area on Friday morning.
At night, at least 15 Palestinians were killed in strikes on two tents, veins, displaced people in Khan Einnis, Nasser Hospital said.
The Israeli military has not yet commented on the strikes, but they said that his forces “operate to disassemble Hamas’ military capabilities.”
In a statement issued early on Friday, Hamas said he was discussed with the leaders of other Palestinian factions the proposal to terminate the fire received from the regional mediators Qatar and Egypt.
Hamas said this would give a “final decision” to mediators after the consultations were completed and then announced it officially.
The proposal is thought to include the gradual release of 10 living Israeli hostages and the bodies of 18 other hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons.
Fifty hostages are still held in Gaza, at least 20 of which are thought to be alive.
One of Hamas’s key demands is the resumption of unlimited food and medical care in Gaza, and the proposal is announced that sufficient quantities will immediately enter the territory with the participation of the United Nations and the Red Cross.
It is said that the plan will also include a gradual Israeli military withdrawal from parts of Gaza.
First of all, Hamas wants a guarantee that Israeli air and ground operations will not resume after the end of the 60-day cessation of fire.
The proposal is thought to be said that negotiations to end the war and the release of the other hostages will begin on the first day.
Donald Trump told reporters early on Friday that he expects to know “in the next 24 hours” whether the proposals will be accepted by Hamas.
The hope will then be the resumption of official, indirect conversations before a planned visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Washington next week.
“We probably hope this is a deal, but I think everything will be what Hamas is ready to accept,” US Ambassador to Israel Mike Hakabi said on Israel’s TV on Channel 12 on Thursday.
“One thing is clear: the President wants to end. The Prime Minister wants to end. The American people, the Israeli people, wants to end.”
In the meantime, Netanyahu promised to ensure the release of all other hostages during a visit to Kibbutz Nir Oz, a community near the border of Israel-Gaza, where a total of 76 inhabitants were abducted during an attack led by Hamas on October 7, 2023, which caused the war.
“I feel a deep commitment, first of all, to guarantee the return of all our hostages, all of them,” he said. “We will bring them back all.”
However, he is not committed to ending the war. He insisted that this would not happen until the hostages were released and the military and the ruling capabilities of Hamas were not destroyed.
The Israeli military launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the attack on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and 251 others were hostage.
Since then, at least 57 130 people have been killed in Gaza, according to the health ministry in the territory.
