A controversial surgery for gas assistance supported by Israel, and the United States says two of its workers were injured in attack while throwing relief.
Two fighters threw grenades at the Han Dinis Help Center, said the Humanitarian Gaza Foundation (GHF). He accused Hamas of the incident on Saturday.
The wounded American workers are in stable condition and receive medical treatment. No other assistants to help or civilians were injured, the group added.
GHF began its operations in May, spreading help from several sites in southern and central gas. The system is widely criticized to force a huge number of people to cross the battle areas.
Since GHF was launched, the Israeli forces have killed more than 400 Palestinians, trying to gather nutritional care, UN said and local doctors. Israel says the new distribution system stops the help of Homas.
The attack is coming as Hamas indicated that he was ready for conversations to end the fire with Israel.
GHF said the incident “took place at the end of the otherwise successful distribution, with thousands of gazan safely receiving food.”
The organization added that it “has repeatedly warned of credible threats from Hamas”, including plans to target US staff, Palestinian assistants and civilians.
Hamas did not comment on the incident.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Civil Protection Agency said 32 Palestinians were killed by Israeli military operations on Saturday.
Friday Hamas said he was ready for more conversations about Fire Termination Agreement Ahead of the United States.
The plan is thought to include the gradual release of Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons.
The BBC understands that Hamas wants project changes, including a guarantee in the United States, that hostilities will resume when the cessation of fire is over.
Hamas also wants GHF to be dear and help only be distributed by the UN and its partners. Israel has previously rejected such demands.
Fifty hostages are still held in Gaza, at least 20 of which are thought to be alive.
According to the Health Ministry of Gaza, at least 70 people have been killed in the territory by Israeli troops in the last 24 hours.
The ministry said the total number of deaths in Gaza increased to 57 338 during the Israeli war against Hamas.
The Israeli military launched their campaign in response to Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and 251 others were hostage.
