How to Use Voice Typing on Your Phone

It is possible to divide the texts into blocks using “new lines” and “new paragraphs” commands, which if you compose a long message. You can say “undone” or “re” to move back or proceed in the direction of the words you have indicated.

Your iPhone also allows you to use commands like “Select Sentence” and “Delete Paragraph” that give you more control over the blocks you are working with. Sometimes accuracy is not as good as it can be, but you should be able to compose a large part of your message through this approach.

However, the iPhone does not give you the easiest way to submit the text you entered, such as Android with “send” or “search” commands – though in some cases searching will be automatically trigger after you stop talking. Usually, you need to turn off the voice dictation (tap the mike button or say “stop dictation”) and then tap the button to send or submit your text.
