Kyiv, struck by the new massive Russian drone attack, say Ukraine officials

The capital of Ukraine Kiev is again a massive attack by Russian drones overnight, local officials say, with at least 10 people reporting injuries and fires burning throughout the city.

Authorities in Kyiv say the remains of the drones have hit the roof of a residential building in the central district of Shevchenkievski.

Social media footage, still unverified by the BBC, show explosions in the night sky, as the air defense departments begin to repel the attack. The military in Ukraine also warned of the threat of an attack on a ballistic rocket.

Last night Ukraine reported the largest air attack from Russia, After 728 drones and 13 cruise or ballistic missiles, cities around the country in multiple waves.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, Kiev’s military administration reported Russian drones in six urban areas.

“Residential buildings, vehicles, warehouses, office and non -residential buildings burn,” said the administrative head Timur Tkachenko in a TELEGRAM publication.

He urged the city’s residents to shelter until Air Raid’s cheese was raised.

At night, the Air Force of Ukraine reported a threat of Russian drone attacks in a number of regions. It was not clear immediately whether there were casualties outside Kyiv.

The Russian military did not comment on the reported last attack.
