President Donald Trump “just asked a question” when he asked the Ukrainian president if the country could hit Moscow, the White House said.

Referring to anonymous sources, The Financial Times reported that Trump has encouraged Ukraine to escalate from Russia on July 4 if the United States provides long -range weapons.

But Trump “just asked a question without encouraging the more murder. He works tirelessly to stop the murder and end this war,” the White House told the BBC in a statement.

On Monday, Trump announced that he would send a weapon to Ukraine and warned more rates for Russia if the country did not reach a deal with a refusal of Ukraine for 50 days.

The president said the United States will impose 100% secondary tariffs aimed at other Russia trading partners if a peace deal with Ukraine is not reached in this time line.

Among the weapons involved in the last deal, Trump said “Everything”, including the Defense Patriots missiles, although the exact details are not yet known.

Trump told the BBC on Monday that he was “disappointed” by Russian President Vladimir Putin. “But I’m not over with it,” he added.

Trump also said he was “working” at Putin to end the murder in Ukraine.

“We will have a great conversation. I will say,” This is good, I will think we are close to doing it “and then he will knock down a building in Kiev.”

In recent weeks, Russia has escalated its drones and missile attacks in Ukraine, killing over 230 civilians in June, according to the United Nations organization – the largest number killed in a month during the three years of war.

Trump’s question to Ukrainian President Vas -Zelenski about whether the country can hit Moscow a day after a “bad” call between the US president and Putin, according to the Financial Times.

“Volodymyr, can you hit Moscow? … Can you also hit St. Petersburg?” Trump asked for a separate call with Zelenski afterwards, the shop reports.

Ukraine has Ukraine hit several goals deep in Russia this year with missiles provided by the US and the UK.

After returning to the White House in January, Trump promised to end Russia’s war in Ukraine.

But the promise turned out to be more complicated than expected, and Trump became more and more distributed by the Russian leader and the lack of progress in the termination of the conflict.

Two rounds of negotiations to end the fire between Russia and Ukraine were held earlier this year, but no other meetings were scheduled.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday that Trump’s promise to collect tariffs and send a weapon to Ukraine was seen “not as a signal of peace, but as a signal for the continuation of the war.”
