Flash floods leave passengers stuck on New York’s submarines

The New York subway passengers were left stuck inside the carriages after the torrential rain caused the flooded waters to crash on the platforms.

Video footage from the station platform on the 28th street showed that passengers watching the train as the water is poured into the station.

Other videos have shown that passengers are kneeling in their places to avoid the water penetrating the train.

In New Jersey, governor Phil Murphy has declared a state of lightning, submerged cars and closed roads.
