The 76 -year -old Michel appeared at Sophie Vuzelo’s home in France, but was greeted by the model’s husband.
He told Gi’s husband, Fabien, that he had paid € 30,000 ($ 35,000) to fraudsters and thought he had been in a romantic relationship for several weeks.
“I am imbecile,” the couple’s husband said as he was considering taking the long way back.
Misadventure became famous after a video of his unfortunate meeting with the couple was shared online by Fabien.
For weeks, the Belgian – a widower for four years – has been communicating for Whatsapp with what he thought was Gi Vosello, a former Miss Limousin and the first Miss France runner in 2007.
He appeared in front of the couple’s property in Saint-Julien, about 420 km (270 miles) south of Paris, on July 9, and according to Fabien, “I am Sophie Vuzelo’s future husband,” to which he said, “Well, I’m the present.”
D -Juzelo, 38 years old, then tried to explain to him that he had been deceived and the couple called for him to go to the police to file a complaint. It is unclear if he did this.
