At least three people were killed after another widespread air bombing from Russia.

Two people have been killed in the Eastern Denpropritov region, regional governor Sergius Lisak said while a woman died of her injuries after being rescued by a burning apartment in Odessa, according to emergency services.

President Volodimir Zelenski said 10 regions of Ukraine, including a number of cities, were affected during the night attack. The military in Ukraine said more than 340 explosive and dummy drones and 35 cruise and ballistic missiles were used.

Although it is said that 90% of them have been downloaded, suppressed electronically or lost, more than 30 have passed.

One of the blows struck an apartment block in the southern city of Odessa, causing a fire on its upper floors.

Rescuers said five people were rescued from burning apartments – including the woman who later died. At least six more were injured.

The eastern city of Pavlokhrad was subjected to what Sergius Lisak called “Hell Night and in the morning.”

He said there was a “explosion after explosion” caused by drones and rocket launches, adding that this was the biggest attack of the city to date.

Objectives are reported to include industrial sites, fire service, clinic, school and cultural institution.

Zelenski writes that “important infrastructure” is damaged there. A rocket plant is based in Pavlohrad and the city was hit in the past by Russia.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said it had struck military-industries that produce missile and drone components overnight, but did not specify where.

The northeastern city was also attacked. Zelenski said critical infrastructure was damaged, reducing the power of several thousand families.

There were also strokes – including bombs – in another city in the region, Shostka, located less than 50 km (30 miles) from the Russian border. The officials said that a “purposeful blow” there had caused a fire. They did not say what was hit.

Unlucky videos posted online, which is supposed to be a fierce fire and clouds of gray smoke.

Zelenski again emphasized the importance of strengthening air protection, as with regard to supplies from allies, but also producing them in Ukraine, including more intercepting drones.

Russia has said it has downloaded more than 70 Ukrainian drones overnight on Saturday, most of them over the regions of Rostov, Moscow and Bryansk.

The acting governor of Rostov Yuri Slouzar said the attack was massive, affecting areas close to the border with busy parts of Ukraine. The houses, he said, were damaged by what he said he had fallen debris, and several settlements suffered temporary cuts for power supply.

Slouzar said a railway worker was injured and the railway traffic was disturbed. Several delivery routes in Ukraine pass through the area.

Meanwhile, the front lines of the Russian forces continue to attack one of their key goals – the city of Pokrovsk in the eastern region of Donetsk.

Late on Friday, the chief commander of Ukraine, Alexander Syky, admitted that he was facing increasing pressure, but insisted that his defense was “unwavering”. He said Russia was trying to reach the city with small groups of soldiers attacking sabotage and intelligence, claiming that such a group had been destroyed. Russia has been trying to surround Pokrovsk for months.
