British song singer Fka Twigs and Hollywood actor Shia Labuf have reached an agreement in her trial of abuse in 2020.

FKA Twigs, whose real name is Thalia Debrett Barnett, accused his ex -partner of physical, mental and emotional violence.

In a joint statement, their lawyers confirmed the agreement, but said the details would “remain private.”

Early Labeouf said many accusations against him were false, but they apologized for the injury he had caused.

The agreement puts a termination of a case, which has been dragged for five years with little progress.

According to legal documents considered by US WeeklyBarnett has asked the court to dismiss all Labeou’s claims with prejudice, which means that it cannot be referred to them in the future.

It was initially defined last year’s test, but later postponed.

On Tuesday, Barnet’s lawyer Brian Friedman and Labeouf’s lawyer Sean Holly said both sides wished well.

“Completed to come up with a constructive path forward, we agreed to settle our case outside the court,” the statement said.

“While the details of the agreement will remain private, we wish personal happiness, professional success and peace in the future.”

The couple met on the set of Honey Boy in 2018 and dates back to nine months before split in 2019, citing conflict work schedules.

But in legal documents filed in 2020, Barnet has accused Labeouf of “Ruthless Abuse”, including “Mental and verbal harassment”, which ultimately became “physical violence”.

She describes incidents in detail that Labuf woke her up in the middle of the night and “strangles” her, she throws her against a car during a dispute and is angry when she talks to other men.

In 2021, Fka Twigs talked about Louis Theroux’s BBC Radio 4 about her relationship with the actor

In an interview with 2021 with Luis Theroux in his BBC Radio 4 -ground podcast, Barnet said he felt “frightened and frightened and controlled” by Labeouf and was left with continued mental trauma from their relationship.

“I was left with PTSR (post -traumatic stress disorder) of what is just just something we don’t think we really talk as a society just about healing when you leave, and how much work has to be done to get back to the person you were before,” she said at the time.

Early Labeouf told The New York Times that many of Barnet’s allegations are not true, but he said that he owes her and Carolyn Fo, another woman whose claims are presented in the lawsuit, “the ability to publicly broadcast their statements and (to) accept responsibility for those things I have done.”

“I have been violent with myself and everyone around me for years. I have a story to hurt the people who are close to me. Ashamed of this story and sorry for those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say,” he added in another statement.

Barnett has released its latest album, Eusexua earlier this year and received numerous recognitions, including two nominations for the British Award for the best British solo artist.

Labeouf’s latest movie was this year’s crime drama Henry Johnson. He is known for the transformer franchise and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
