US President Donald Trump and Federal Reserve President Jerome Powell exchanged frosty words during their public tour of the Federal Reserve Renovation of $ 2.5 billion. The couple disagreed with the timeline and the project costs.
It was their first public meeting, as Trump began wide against Powell and the Federal Reserve to refuse to lower interest rates.
Trump’s visit celebrated the first visit of a sedentary President of the Fed, as former President George Bush attended the Ben Bernanke sunk as chairman in 2006.
