Firefighters fight to contain wild fires in Greece

Greece is fighting five major fires throughout the country, with employees evacuating residents in a firmly affected region north of the capital Athens.

The ongoing emergency situation comes against the background of a strong heat wave with a temperature forecast of 44 ° C (111.2F) on Sunday.
