Google’s AI Mode gets new ‘Canvas’ feature, real-time help with Search Live, and more

Google announced Tuesday that it was adding new power AI modeIts experimental features that allow users to ask for complex questions and follow-ups to make a deeper excavation on any matter directly in search of.

Canvas, one of the new features helps you create a study plan and organize information on multiple sessions on the side panel. For example, if you want to create a study plan for the upcoming test, you can click the new “Create Canvas” button to start. From there, the AI mode will start keeping things together in the canvas side panel and you can refine the output with follow-up prompts until what you are looking for.

Soon, you will be able to upload class notes or files like a syllabus to customize your study guide. Users listed in the AI Mode Labs Examination in the United States will see the canvas in the next week.

Google Search lives directly to the project’s Astra capacity in AI mode, which is integrated with the Google Lens of the Tech Giants.

“When you go live with the search, it’s like being a special expert in the speed dial that you can see and talk about in real-time with easy access to helpful links on the web,” Google Search VP, Google Search VP Robi Stein wrote.

To use the feature, open the lens to the Google app, tap the live icon and ask a question when pointing the camera towards anything. With this feature, users can use the visual context from their camera feed to the back and front conversation with the search in AI mode.

Furthermore, Google has announced that users will soon be able to use the lens in AI mode to ask what is on their desktop screen.

Also, when you can use AI mode in the Google app already to ask questions about the images, you can now do this on desktop. Google is also adding support for uploads on the desktop, allowing you to ask details about documents.

For example, you can upload PDF slides from a school speech and ask follow-up questions to make your understanding more deeper outside the class materials.

Google says AI Mode will support PDFS late this year with Google Drive file and support the types of extra files outside of the image.
