Google launched her AI coding agent on Wednesday, Jules, Bitter, just two months later Public preview debut in May.
Powered by Jemi 2.5 Pro, Jules are an asynchronous, agent-based coding equipment that integrates with githab, integrate clones codebase on Google Cloud Virtual machines and use AI to fix the code when developers focus on other tasks.
Google Initially announced Jules as a Google Labs project in December and made it Beta is available for examiners Through a public preview at its i/and developer conference.
Google Labs’ product director Kathy Koreevec told TechCrunch that the advanced stability of the equipment had taken the decision to get it out of the bet after receiving hundreds of UI and quality updates during its beta episode.
“The tractary of where we are going, gives us a lot of confidence that Jules are in the vicinity and will walk around for a long way,” he said.
With the larger rollout, Google introduced the structural price determination levels for the Jules, starting with the 60-task limit below the Beta, starting with 15 separate daily work and a “initial access” free plan included in the three coastal places. The levels given by Jules are part of the Google AI Pro and Ultra plan, which costs 19.99 and $ 124.99 in a month and 5 × and 20 × higher limit to customers respectively.
Koreevec mentions that the packaging and prices of the Jules are based on the “real use” insights that have gathered over the past few months.
“The 60-task cap helped us study how the developers used the jugs and gave us the information we needed for the new packaging design,” he said. “15/Day is designed to understand whether Jules will work for the real project for them.”
Google has updated to be more clear about how the privacy policy of the Juls trains AI. If a repository is universal, its data can be used for training, if it is private then Koreevec said that no data was shipped.
“We’ve got some response from users [the privacy policy] It was not as clear as we thought and so we only react to it. We have changed nothing about what we are doing towards training, but we have changed the language, “said Korevek.
During the Beta, Google said that thousands of developers have dealt with thousands of tasks, so that more than 140,000 codes have been publicly shared. The initial response was managed to re -use the previous setups to quickly perform the task to the Google Labs team, integrate with the Github issues and add new powers, including supporting multimodal inputs.

Two primary users of Juls are AII enthusiasts and professional developers, Koreevek said.
Occasionally on the virtual machine, the top AI coding equipment stands excluding the Jules cursor, Windsorf and profitable, which works all synchronically and the users need to visit the output after each prompt.
“Juls works like an extra hand set … you can turn off the work on it and then you can turn off your computer and then you can go away from it and then Jul Jules can come back after a few hours, if you are doing this with a local agent or using a synchronous agent you will be bound with this surplus.”
This week, Juls got a more deep integration with Githab Open the Pool Requests Automatically – just as it can open the branch – and a feature is called Snapshot of the environment To preserve dependence and install scripts as a snapshot for faster, more continuous task.
Since entering the public bites, Jules has logged around 2.25 million visits worldwide, from which 5% from mobile devices, according to data from the market detective supplier to data. On the same webReviewed by TechCrunch. India was the top market of traffic, then the United States and Vietnam.
The user of Google Jules has not specifically shared the base and its top geographies.
Korevek told TechCrunch that during the beta, the team observed that many people used to use bugs using julis from the traditional vibbean coding equipment that could be applied or expanded the vibe coded project to produce further production.
Basically, the users of the Jules must have an existing codebase. However, Google soon realized many potential users – such as other AI tools try – it might want to explore it without any. Koreevek said that the company had quickly enabled Jules to work with an empty repository. It helped increase its opportunity and usage.
The Google Labs team noticed a growing number of accessors accessing the Juls through their mobile devices. Although the equipment does not have a dedicated mobile app, Korevek says users are accessing it through its web app.
“Since this is a big use that we look emerging, we are absolutely exploring what we need more on mobile,” he mentioned.
Along with the beta testers, Koreevec said that Google has already used Jules to help some projects develop internally and now there is a “big push” to use the company’s “many more projects” tools.
