Apple Announced Thursday It is introducing a newly designed blood oxygen feature for some Watch Series 8, Series 10, and Apple Watch Ultra. With this move, the Apple International Trade Commission (ITC) has tweeted the feature around the import ban banning the blood oxygen observation.
Blood oxygen data will be measured and the user will be calculated on the folded iPhone and the results can be seen in the respiratory section of the health application. This means that users will not be able to see their Apple Watch data, as they need to do it on their iPhone.
Apple says that today’s announced update has been enabled by a recent US tariff verdict, meaning technology giant has been allowed to import Apple clocks with newly designed blood oxygen features.
Change does not affect previously sold models with the original version of the feature or with units purchased outside the United States
Re -designed feature only applies to Apple clock that was sold after the ITC import restriction in early 2021.
The move comes as the Apple Medical Device Manufacturer is ongoing on the ongoing legal dispute with Masimo, which has been accused of stealing the technical giant after initial discussion on possible cooperation.
