Less than 24 hours after its release, the US authorities have informed Kilmar Abango Garcia that he may be deported to Uganda after deciding to accept a legal basis in a waiting criminal process, his lawyers say.

The lawyers of G -n Abgo Garcia say he declined to plead guilty on charges of smuggling people in exchange for deportation in Costa Rica – a proposed transaction after it became clear that he would be released from arrest on Friday.

D -Hrego Garcia, a citizen of Salvadoran, was wrongly deported to El Salvador in March by the Trump administration and then returned to the United States on criminal charges.

Officials claim that Mr. Abrego Garcia has links to a criminal gang of MS-13, an accusation he denied.

The deal, which will be sent to Costa Rica, was offered on Thursday after it became clear that the Abango Garcia was likely to be released from the Tennessee prison on Friday.

The Costa Rica government has agreed to accept him as a refugee and to give him legal status there, said a letter from Costa Rica, included in the legitimate submission.

His attorneys now say that after the release of the federal arrest of the federal arrest, they were informed of the government’s intention to deport him to Uganda, a country with which he had no some relationships.

“There can only be one interpretation of these events,” they wrote in the submission. “Doj, DHS and ICE use their collective powers to force the abrego to choose between guilty recognition, followed by relative safety or transmission to Uganda, where his safety and freedom will be threatened.”

G -n Abrego Garcia, now in Maryland with his family, is planned to appear in a Baltimore court on Monday. If a judge approves the government’s request, he may be confronted with deportation within days.

US has reached bilateral deportation agreements with Honduras and Uganda as part of its repression of illegal immigration, According to documents received from the US partner of BBC CBS.

“This is a temporary agreement of terms, including that persons with criminal records and unaccompanied minors will not be accepted,” said Bagire Vincent Waiswa, a permanent secretary of the Ugandan Foreign Ministry.

“Uganda also prefers that people from African countries will be those transferred to Uganda.”

The case for deportation of the abrego garcia has become an attachment of the Trump administration’s repression of immigration.

He was deported to his native El Salvador in March and was originally kept in the notorious Sekot prison. But after US government officials admitted to being deported because of an “administrative mistake”, a judge ordered the administration to “facilitate” its return.

He was returned to the United States in early June and sent to Tennessee, where he was accused of a human smuggling scheme. He admitted that he was not guilty of the charges.

At the end of June, a Federal Judge in Tennessee ruled that the abrego Garcia was entitled to release, but remained in prison because of fears of his own legal team that he could be deported again if he left the facility.
