French helicopter crew survives in the lake

French helicopter crew survived after the plane they were traveling to, crashed in the lake while trying to collect water to fight the fires.

Eyewitnesses filmed the helicopter descending the body of water, carrying a water collection before appearing to lose control and end up in the lake in Roporden, northwestern France.

According to a statement from the local municipality, the pilot, the officer on board the helicopter and a witness, were taken to a local hospital without reporting victims.
