Ukraine’s Naval Group joins the Scots for joint performance

The Ukrainian naval group joined the Scottish Guards Group for implementation at Buckingham Palace to mark the Independence Day of Ukraine.

The two groups played in a formation when changing the guards on Monday, with the security guard of the Scots wearing their distinctive red tunics and hats for bear skins, and the Ukrainian fleet, dressed in white.

The show came the day after the Independence Day of Ukraine, which fell on August 24 and gained greater importance after the full invasion of Russia in 2022.

By posting on social media presentation, the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense writes: “We are standing next to you, Ukraine. Now and always.”
