Bayro, who was leading the minority government from last December, called on the vote on Monday, warning that France was facing “anxious and therefore decisive moment”. “Yes, it’s risky, but it’s even more highly doing nothing,” he said, against the backdrop of France’s increasing budget deficit.
From the national rally to the right of the Socialists, the Greens and France did not give up on the left, the opposition parties are arranged to say that they will vote against it.
Byro called the vote two days before protests were called in France to “block everything”.
Thehe Let’s block everything movement., Which started on social media, but has since been supported by trade unions and far left, appeared after Bayrou announced plans in July for nearly 44 billion euros (38 billion British pounds) in cutting the budget.
Responding to the vote news, the France CAC-40 shares index fell 1.59% on Monday and then another 2% on Tuesday morning.
Finance Minister Eric Lombard said on Tuesday that “collectively, we need to find a way to prepare a recovery budget for 2026”.
Last year’s budget deficit reached 5.8% of France’s economic production (GDP), and Bayro said France was in danger and parliament would be asked to “choose the path that allows us to escape this curse (of indebtedness)”.
Bairu was appointed Prime Minister by President Emmanuel Macron after the Michel Barnier government collapsed with a vote of confidence in cost redundancy last December.
The prognosis for Byiro and his fragile government seems grim because they do not have enough support in the National Assembly.
The leaders of the far -right national rally party immediately clarified that they would not vote for it. Its President Jordan Bardela said Bayro has declared the “end of his government” and Morne Le Pen’s leader said only the dissolution of parliament would allow France to choose his fate.
The Communists, Ecologists and Radical-Left France have not borne all said they would vote against the government, and then the socialist leader Olivier Faure seems to be sealing the fate of Bayro when he told Le Mond newspaper that “the socialists will be unthinkable.
“We are not looking for chaos in order to accelerate the selection calendar,” Faure said. “It is Francois Bairu that is guilty of political instability, offering a budget that no one supports, even its electorate.”

Bayrou’s budget plans also include reducing two of France’s national holidays, so there may be some scope to continue the government.
Ministerial colleagues, who were notified on Monday a little by Bairu’s decision to summon a vote of confidence on September 8, praised his move.
Justice Minister Geral Darman told French television on Tuesday that the prime minister’s move was “extremely brave .. and very democratic”.
If the government collapses, President Macron is facing the election or to leave Bayro on the spot as head of the government’s government, calling another Prime Minister or calling new elections.
Byro made his message after visiting the president during his Fort Breganson holiday in southern France, so Macron was fully informed of the Prime Minister’s plans.
Macron himself declined to resign and his term of office should continue until 2027, but his decision to call Snap elections in 2024 left France with a minority government composed of centist and right -wing Republicans.
