The leading world association of genocide scientists said Israel performs genocide in gas.
A resolution adopted by the International Association of Genocide Scientists (IAGS) states that Israel’s behavior corresponds to the legal definition as stated in the UN Convention on Genocide.
Through a three-page resolution, IAGS presents Lyan from actions taken by Israel throughout the 22-month war, which recognizes as a genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
IAGS is the world’s most professional association of genocide scientists and includes a number of Holocaust experts. Of their 500 members, 28% participated in the vote, and 86% of the voters supported the resolution.
In summary of Israeli policies and actions, the declaration notes widespread attacks on both staff and facilities needed for survival, including in the healthcare, assistance and education sector.
Among many other elements, he notes that 50,000 children killed or injured by Israel, as highlighted by the United Nations UN organization, which affects the ability of the Palestinians in Gaza to survive as a group and regenerate.
The resolution also emphasizes support among Israeli leaders for the forced expulsion of all Gaza Palestinians, along with the almost total destruction of Israel’s dwellings in the territory.
IAGS notes the statements of Israeli leaders who dehumanizing the Palestinians in Gaza, characterizing them all as an enemy, together with the promises of Gaza’s equalization and turn it into “hell”.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry said the report was based on “Hamas Lies” and bad research, calling it “embarrassment to the legal profession.” A spokesman added that Israel himself is a victim of genocide.
Israel regularly denies that his actions in Gaza are a genocide and says that they are justified as a means of self -defense.
IAGS scientists say that while October 7, 2023 Attack Hamas – in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others took a hostage – it is a crime in itself, Israel’s response is not only aimed at Hamas, but is aimed at the entire Gaza population.
The 1948 UN Genocide Convention, which was adopted after the mass murder of Jews from Nazi Germany, defines genocide as crimes committed “with the intention of destroying, in whole or in part, national, ethnic, racial or religious group.”
A number of leading rights organizations, including two Israeli organizationsThey have also declared that they believe that Israel is performing genocide.
The UN and a number of Western nations have said they will only consider a court decision that the genocide is being authoritative.
Currently, the best court of the UN, the International Court of Justice, examines a case brought by South Africa in 2023, which claims that Israel is performing genocide. ICJ has not yet decided on the topic and provided Israel with an extension until January 2026 to present its protection.
Israel has accused of having anti -Semitic motivations, calling it “blood slander”, in connection with historical claims that Jewish communities ritually kill Christian children.
IAGS claims that their resolution is not relevant to any case proposed to an international court.
On Monday, the Ministry of Health, run by Hamas, said 63,557 people had been killed and so far 160 660 were injured during the war. The number of the ministry is considered reliable, but they do not distinguish between civilians and fighters.
In August, the Food-Backed, IPC monitor, confirmed that the hunger was carried out in parts of the gas. Israel is accused of causing hunger by continuing restrictions on food and medical care entering Gaza.
Israel controls all border crossings in the Gaza Strip and since the occupation power is responsible for the protection of civil life according to international law, which involves hunger prevention.
