Protests led by hostage families have recently intensified

More than 15,000 people have taken to the streets in Israel to summon the end of the Gaza Strip and to insist on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to agree to a transaction to release other hostages.

The families and supporters of the hostages, who are still held by Hamas, threw Paris Square in Jerusalem, with others gathering in Tel Aviv.

Of the 48 hostages still in the gas, it is believed that 20, as 20, are thought to be alive.

Israel has And yet to answer officially to a deal that will see the release of some hostages but has requested The return of all hostages to each agreement. Netanyahu insists that a complete victory over Hamas will return the hostages home.

Hamas took 251 hostages back to Gaza after his attack in southern Israel on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people.

Israel has launched a large -scale revenge campaign for the destruction of Hamas, which led to the death of at least 64 368 Palestinians, according to figures of the Ministry of Health, run by Hamas. The UN examines the numbers reliable, although Israel disputes them.

The voices of protest on Israeli streets and international demands from some of Israel’s allies to stop his military offensive in Gaza are steadily increasing.

Still, all the signs are that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are preparing to strengthen the war, as the Netanyahu government promises to gain full control of the Gaza Strip and finally beat Hamas.

On Saturday night, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem saw some of the biggest protests in recent months, calling for the release of other hostages and the termination of the war.

Within the ear of the residence of Netanyahu in the city, the chairman after a speaker called on the Prime Minister of Israel to conclude a deal with Hamas, who would see the safe return of his relatives, almost two years after their abduction.

Among the many family members with angry reports of Netanyahu was the mother of Matan Angst, a soldier of IDF, held in Gaza.

“This is not a threat, the prime minister.

Many protesters claim that the expansion of war will further endanger the life of the hostages.

If Netanyahu was really in his nearby home in Jerusalem, the calls of parents and supporters seem to fall on deaf ears.

The disturbed but decisive Prime Minister of Israel shows no signs of ending war, although many former military leaders have repeatedly said that IDF probably achieved as much as a military in Gaza, without threatening the hostage’s life and sharpening the desperate humanitarian crisis there.

This is a point of view, according to the reports, also many officials of the army generals, but now they are asked by their government to prepare for a huge invasion of the ground to overcome the city of Gaza, and the rest of the Palestinian enclave combat.

Netanyahu Defense Minister Israel Katz has repeatedly embarked on social media in recent days, posting videos of tall buildings in Gaza, blown up with the stupid message that this is only the beginning.

Israel justifies the destruction of Gaza’s most famous buildings because they say they are used by Hamas as “Command and Control Centers.”

He denies accusations of implementing a “burned -out” policy – the systematic destruction of public buildings and homes to make gas practically uninhabited.

Katz earlier threatened to “open the gates of hell” as Israel warned the residents of Gaza to leave for the so-called “humanitarian enclave” by Al Mavasi to the south.

But nowhere in Gaza can it be realistically described as “safe” and Al -Mavasi is repeatedly directed by Israeli air strikes, which killed dozens of people in the last week – many, including several children.

The US Ambassador to Israel says recognition of a Palestinian state is catastrophic

Against this background, the allies of Israel have repeatedly repeatedly called for the termination of the battles in the gas and an urgent return to negotiations for the termination of fire.

“We are extremely concerned about the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, so we are repeating our calls for Israel to stop the military offensive,” said Denmark Minister of Denmark Lars Rasussen, visiting Jerusalem on Sunday.

This message was politely ignored by his Israeli counterpart Gideon Saar, who not so finely warned that the intention of some European nations to recognize the Palestinian statehood would be counterproductive and may have serious consequences.

Asked by a reporter, where the Netanyahu government was on highly controversial proposals for the annexation of the occupied Palestinian West coast, Sa’ar replied: “We had discussions on this with the Prime Minister and there will be a solution. I should not be developed.”

The Foreign Minister also said he had recently spoke with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the issue of other reports, citing US officials, including Mike Hukabi, the US Ambassador to the United States in Israel – who said the Trump administration would not “tell Israel what to do.”

If this happens, the tension in an already divided region will move up the slit or two.

The number of dead in gas continues to increase as Israel’s position hardens.

At least 87 people have been killed in the last 24 hours in air strikes in Gaza, according to local officials.

The Gaza Health Ministry also announced that five people died during the same period, including three children, of starvation and malnutrition.

Against this background, Netanyahu is digging deeply.

“If I have to choose between the victory over our enemies and the evil propaganda against us – I choose a victory,” the prime minister said on Sunday when he clarifies Israeli troops, “deepen the maneuvers” around and inside the city of Gaza.
