There is an increase in calls to ban Israel from sports competition following the UN report.
And it comes against the backdrop of reports that UEFA can vote whether to stop Israel next week. UEFA said that no meeting is not planned at the moment.
Israel are third in their World Cup qualifying group – organized by UEFA – nine points, six among the leaders of Norway.
The best team in each group automatically qualifies for the World Cup, with the runners in the playoffs.
Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez said Israel should be treated in the same way as Russia by are banned from international sports competitions.
“Israel cannot continue to use any international platform to beat its image,” Sanchez said.
The Russian national team is banned from competing in international football tournaments after the invasion of Ukraine in 2022 in the country.
The Israeli FA declined to comment when he contacted the BBC Sport, and FIFA turned for comment.
Sanchez’s comments came when the last stage of Vuelta a Espana was abandoned earlier this month after propalist protesters entered the course in the center of Madrid.
The protesters demolished barriers and occupied the path of several points of the course, including Gran Via, where cyclists had to cross repeatedly.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) banned Russian and Belarusian athletes from competing under their national flags at the 2024 Olympics.
Earlier this week, IOC President Kirsti Coventry surrounded the issue of sanctioning Israeli athletes, saying, “Sports movement must show the good that is in humanity.”
Meanwhile, supporters of the Greek side Paok showed Palestinian flags and banners during the European League match of their country against the Israeli team McAd Tel Aviv on Wednesday.
Fans have made signs in English, reading “Stop the genocide” and “Showing Israel Red Card.”
The chants of “Free Palestine” also listened to after McAbi’s supporters unfolded an Israeli flag.
The exhibitions came after protests earlier during the day in Thessaloniki, where fans and activists gathered against Israel’s participation in European football.
The demonstrators presented over 1900 signatures in UEFA in support of a petition, launched this week, which said there could be no “honest game with genocide representatives”.
The match was set at high risk due to the ongoing situation involving Israel and Gaza, with Paok supporters warning before the match: “Showing banners, messages or banners with political content can lead to severe sanctions for our club.”
Maccabi faces Aston Villa in Villa Park in the Europa League on November 6th.
