Two 17-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of State intervention in the Netherlands, prosecutors say in the case of reports of Russian spying.
The couple are said to have been linked to pro -Russian hackers in the Telegram Message app, Dutch media reported.
One of the boys seemed to go past the offices of Europol, Eurojust and the Canadian Embassy in The Hague, carrying a “Wi-Fi Sniffer”-a device designed to identify and interfere with Wi-Fi networks.
Teens appeared to a judge on Thursday, who ordered a boy to be detained and the other under strict home warranty conditions until he was held in the next two weeks.
One of the boy’s father told the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf that police had arrested his son on Monday afternoon while he was doing his homework.
He told the police told him that the arrest related to espionage and the provision of services in a foreign country, the document reported.
The teenager was described as a computer reasonable and has a charm to hack while he has occupied part -time work at a supermarket.
