Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has identified the recognition of a Palestinian state as a “brand of shame” during a combat speech at the UN General Assembly in New York.
Dozens of officials and diplomats organized a walk as he got on the podium, leaving large parts of the conference empty.
Protesters also took to the streets of New York, branding the signs of Free Palestine.
Shots have shown that Netanyahu’s speech has been blown up on speakers at the border of Israel-Gaza.
Israel has fallen under enormous international pressure on its military action in Gaza, culmination in the UK, France, Canada, Australia and other countries recognizing the state Palestine this week.
