In 1980, Dam Gudol spoke with Terry Wagan of the BBC on how he was interested in animals and shared some of his observations on the likeness of chimpanzees to humans.

The primatologist and animal rights campaign, which revolutionizes the study of wild chimpanzees, died at the age of 91.
