On average, the proton has decreased by about 15 percent of my protected motion, but this number requires some context. In the Atlanta of Thursday, in the Atlanta, in the place like Georgia, I felt a drop of about 3 percent. In Columbus, Ohio, on Friday evening, it increased by 25 percent. This type of variation is normal. Supply, like Surfshars and NordVPN, see the same variation and on average the same speed is reduced.
The difference for proton is that I have not yet been able to stumble on the original odor of a server. I am sure they are present – including about 15,000+ servers, you are obliged to find one at any stage – but I haven’t seen them after a few weeks use. Windscript and ExpressVPN on average are competitive with proton, but they have some locations where I have seen anywhere from 40 to 60 percent reduction at speed. These results do not indicate overall motion (you simply change to a separate server), but the proton gets you there quickly.
This edge is probably due to the Proton VPN Accelerator. I will admit, it seems to be nasty. In the Proton VPN app, you will get a toggle for VPN Accelerator, which claims to increase the speed up to 400 percent of courage; Probably not. Despite the speedup, I don’t think that the VPN Accelerator will reach somewhere near that quoted number, at least in most cases.
Nevertheless, there are some benefits, especially, BBR. The barrier bandwidth and round-trip promotion time or BBR, a consistency control algorithm developed by Google, which has been placed on YouTube and Google itself. Instead of restricting the packet transfer, most conservation control algorithms work, modeling the BBR network, and assuming the available bandwidth. There is no need to look at the lost packets for kicking.
Proton’s speed is not fully responsible to the BBR, but I suspect that it helps when connecting the servers at a long distance. For example, connecting in the UK, I have seen an average loss of about 20 percent, which is much closer than my US results.
